California Pizza @ Fahrenheit



..went down to Pavillion yesterday to fix my burberry lowry canvas bag zip. The zip handle come out 2 piece and the inner part is not shining and it looks a bit rough. It's kind of like the glue can no longer hold on to the handles and make it separated. But the lady work at burberry told me is it not a defect but is the design with 2 patent leather handle and the inner part is the original leather, that's why is not shining. So happy to hear that is it not a defect as i just used the bag twice and it is still very new.

Before that dropped by Fahrenheit for lunch. It consider my belated birthday lunch with my hubby. We went to California Pizza. The recommend us 2 famous pizza - The Original BBQ Chicken and Chipotle Chicken. Most funny part is that, the "Fresh Cilantro" herbs is out of stock and these herbs suppose to be a seasonings to this 2 pizza. Hmm.....
End up we ordered Peking Duck Pizza and Garlic Cream Fettuccine.

The Peking Duck Pizza has a very oriental flavour. Personally feel the taste a bit like 'gai zai peng 鸡仔饼'. I had it served on thin crust at an additional RM2. But very dissapointed with the thin crust. It is not crispy and it is very hard to break and chew. But overall the taste is nice.

Garlic Cream Fettuccine is creamy with no garlic taste at all. It taste like normal creamy pasta. It is not my favourite type of pasta.

Creamy Mushroom Macaroni



Ingredients
Half can of Campbell cream of mushroom
2 sausages; slice thinly
1 stalk fresh italian parsley; chop
1 person servings of macaroni

Methods
1. Put water and a dash of salt into wok and bring to boil.
2. Put in macaroni and cook until macaroni is tender. Put it aside.
3. Put sausage and half can of cream of mushroom into wok.
4. Slowly put in some water and stir ocassionally.
5. Pour mushroom soup on the macaroni and arrange parsley on top. - Serve -

Steam Pork with Eggs (2)


Ingredients
Minced Pork
2 Eggs
Water (measure by egg shell, fill water in egg shell. 2 eggs = 2 eggs shell water)
Soy sauce
Corn flour

Methods
1. Break eggs and water into bowl and beat the eggs gently; to minimize bubbles.
2. Mix minced pork with soy sauce and corn flour, then arrange minced pork in thin layer on plate.
3. Pour eggs onto the pork.
4. Put to steam for 15 minutes.
5. Once ready, mix fry onion with a little oil with soy sauce and pour onto of the steamed egg. - Serve -
Note: you can use egg shell to measure. 2 eggs = 2 eggs shell of water.

Valentine Dish


Valentine's day 2011~
Bake tomato eggs with pesto
1. Get some romaine lettuce and parsley.
2. Blend romaine lettuce, parsley, garlic and some salt and pepper. Add a little olive oil together to blend.
3. Get a big tomato and slice the tops of tomato. Remove all seeds and flesh of the tomato and pat dry inside.
4. Put a generous amount of pesto inside the tomato. Then crack an egg into the tomato. Sprinkle some salt and black pepper/white pepper on top.
5. Put into oven and bake till the egg is almost cooked.


Bake chicken
1. Marinate chicken with some soy sauce, salt, pepper, all purpose seasoning, paprika ground, sugar and some chopped garlic or garlic powder overnight.
2. Put some olive oil and put into oven to bake 30/40 minutes.
3. Take out and pour some sauce (pepper, sugar, all purpose seasoning, soy sauce and 1/2 tsp of honey.)
4. Pour sauce onto baked chicken and continue bake for 10 minutes or until brown.


Decoration on tomato:

1. Cut bacon into desire shape. (small)
2. Fry bacon until crispy.
3. Remaining oil use to cook some romaine lettuce ribs.


Note:
1. Advice to break the eggs into a bowl before pour into the tomato.
2. After pour sauce to chicken and bake, keep an eyes on the chicken before it turn black.

Fry Tofu


Ingredients
2 pieces of tofu; slice half and cut into triangle shape
Some parsley, chili powder


Sauce
Fry onion with oil
Soy sauce
Some pepper


Methods
1. Fry tofu into golden brown, springle some parsley and chili powder continue fry for a while.
2. Place fried tofu on plate. Put some sauce on the tofu. - Serve with chili sauce -

Braised Peanut



Ingredients
1 cup peanut; soaked overnight
Some Pork Belly
Little bit of dark soy sauce
Salt to taste
Onion oil

Methods
1. Boil peanuts for 15 minutes.
2. Remove peanuts from boiled water and put 1.5 cup new water to boil.
3. Put in peanuts and pork.
4. Put a bit of dark soy sauce, salt to taste and little bits of fry onion and onion oil.
5. Boil 2 hours or until peanut is soft. - Serve -

Potato Tortilla

Ingredients
1 Russet Potato; cut into wedges
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
2 eggs
1 tsp paprika ground
1 tbsp parsley
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Method
1. Heat oil and cook potato until tender and lightly colored.
2. Add garlic, parsley and saute till aromatic.
3. Beat eggs, and season to taste with chilli powder, salt and pepper.
4. Pour eggs onto cooked potato.
5. Flip another side to continue cooked until the eggs a little bit brown. - serve -
